Hi I have got the laser injector cutter pack 4597 it comes with 4 cutters....

Do I use the 15mm flat cutter (17 / 19mm body) - general use

or the 17mm flat cutter (straight 17mm body) this seems tight against the base)

It says the 19mm / 17mm cutter is for the merc CRD, and the 17mm section is not long enough when compared to the injectors for the CDI.

The washers I have are 15mm and the base of the injector is 15mm, but the lower body is 17mm???

For testing 'uniteddiesel' recommends making up a washing up liquid solution to put round the injectors to test.... is this okay will it not cause damage??

Thanks for the help

Cant remember which size i used..BUT make sure you use plenty of grease on the cutter to catch the swarf, and keep cleaning it and re-applying new grease.....washing liquid solution is fine..it'll show any leaks by blowing bubbles....theres a plumbers solution too we use for testing for gas leaks....same thing really....
