Planning to move up from an entry level Mercedes, I am researching a'96 S600 coupe and I would like to know here the fuel pump and relay are located on these cars.

I'd be grateful for an answer.

1997 S600 fuel pump relays

http://www.classic-roadster.de/cgi-bin/showitemlocation.cgi?TYPE=W140&X=8&Y=19&SORT=ITEM&START=&ITEM=K27

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Remove RH side trunk liner.
3. Remove fuel pump relay (K27).
4. Install in reverse order.

Symbolic95,

Quick question, What problems would be expected if a fuel pump relay starts to go bad on a 1997 Mercedes S600, also aren't there two relays for this vehicle, and are they located near the rear passenger side fuse box in the trunk?? I'm experiencing very low sluggish engine power whenever the temperatures is lower than 45 degrees and sometimes the full power returns or goes away after hitting a bump in the road and A new fuel pump and fuel filter has already been installed, also feel free to call me at 347-437-4143 thanks!!!
