Hey guys,

I've seen that the W211 is built in all of the following places:

Sindelfingen, Germany
Bremen, Germany
Stuttgart, Germany
Zuffenhausen, Germany
Graz, Austria (by Magna Steyr)

So my question is, how do I know where exactly was my car built? I read the data plate next to the door and it says "manufactured in Germany" but I would like to know where exactly.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated :)

Thanks!

Where did you find the info stating W211 cars being built at the indicated places? My understanding is that E-class and S-class all come today from Sindelfingen (see www.jesmb.de for location info), excluding India & China and similar more or less external factories.

Sindelfingen and Bremen on the list are the only German sites that so actual production of cars. Stuttgart Untertürkheim makes engines etc.

Thanks for the link, however it seems that it only works for cars that are older than MY2005. Mine is a 2009.
Give me your VIN pm if you wish
