I have a stock w123 (1982 300D Turbo Diesel) and I would like to upgrade my stock wheels with some vintage w123 AMG wheels. I know I shouldn't say this, but I'm willing to look into replica's that look like old school AMG's.

Any idea where I can get these old AMG wheels?? I live in central Florida, if you know of an Benz junk yard that I can hit up, please let me know, thanks.

You have to constantly search CL, Ebay, and forums. The 16x8 versions with an offset of 11 will fit the w126s too, so you have to just keep searching. They come up every now and then, but not too often.

I have a set of "penta's" made in England I'm finishing up restoring that I would consider selling. They are off a W116.

I'll get all the dimentions tomorrow morning and some pictures.

16x8 ET11 is only usable on the rear of a w123
fronts need to be more like 16x7 ET25 range

OP: prepare to spend some decent cheddar for a set of nice pentas. if they were affordable and/or available, they'd be on a LOT of w123s I promise you.

I've been corresponding with Onkel-Benz on this and the 16x8 ET11 will work on the front of W123s', like this...

Front: 8x16" ET11 with 205/50-16 tire.
Back: 9x16" ET14 with 225/45-16 tire and 10mm spacers so the ET is ET4.

He does say a smaller tire might be better for the front because his vehicle is so low, but they work fine.

I have 8x16 ET11 pentas on my wagon all round and they fit perfectly with 205/55/16 tires. No rubbing in any conditions though my car hasn´t been lowered.

Those are Ronal made Gen. II AMG pentas part no. 7400100. I believe yours are Gen. I or British made Pentas. But outer dimensions should be the same in both.

do they fit the W123's? Do the w123's have any original AMG wheels specifically designed for w123s? If so, what are those called?

As mentioned above, Ronal r9's. 15x7 et 23 will be a direct fit to a w123 and won't "stick" out too much from the fender. I have a photo in my gallary of these wheels on a wagon. They're probably just as hard to find as AMG Pentas, though if found will probably cost a couple bills less.
