yea I have seen them there but it says "for turbo diesel trucks" and I called the dealer and asked them if I could use it and they said no
I have seen the truck oil but that is not what I am talking about. By me, Walmart carries the same oil that my dealer put in my car 2 weeks ago.

Mobil 1 has formulas for autos and trucks and they are different. My Walmart carries both syn oils in quart bottles. The 5W/40 or 0W/40 European grade oil costs more then the US truck oil.

Almost everybody in Bay Area carries the European formula of Mobil 1 0-40, but to I can get the Mobil 1 ESP formula M only at dealer or Monument Auto Parts, that has old fashion salesmen who know cars more than computers.

beginning of a disaster

First of all how are you going to get the oil out, crawling under to get at the drain plug, Do you have a proper wrench to get the plug out, remembering not to loose the gasket. Are you changing the oil filter, a genuine MB fleece filter, I hope not something Pep Boys has on sale. There is a tool for that, and where are you getting rid of the old oil, you cant just dump it.
There are many who do their own work, I suggest you find someone who will help you, or get MB to do it while you sort everything out.

would any1 have any pictures of how to change oil on a 02 e320? this would be my first time changing oil on any car....so I want to make sure that I do it right
Have a look at the stickys that appear at the top of the W210 forum; that's what you have. There is a place called AV Lubricants in Ohio that used to sell the 5W40 ESP Formula M by the case of 6. I buy it at a dealer for less than $7 per quart.

Re-Check your Owners Manual. It does not ONLY take 5W40.
It takes a range of Oil. Your limiting your choices.
