I just purchased some new amg replica 22 inch wheels for my 2007 R350 and wanted to pass on some info as it relates to the 433 Mhz TPMS system in the newer mercedes benz cars. Don't buy the factory TPMS system or any other sensor that is 150 a sensor. Instead buy the 433 ( MUST be 433 Mhz) sensors for a ford truck ( 2009 or higher) on ebay. I put these ford sensors in my wheels and they work like a charm - no issues and they only ran $79 for a whole SET ( 5 units).... I was skeptical, but it works and it is nice to not have to pay the same for a sensor that you pay for a tire....

Just be sure your car is 433 and not 315 on the sensors.

Yeah, I think on ebay, there's quite a few TPMS sensors on sale that run on the 433MHZ band...

Can anybody here confirm through experience that any sensor on the 433 band will work?

Cheers and TIA!

I'm going nuts trying to source some cheap and new sensors.

Orange Electronics part number SC9400 (not available anywhere it seems)
Schrader Part number 20095 (per catalogue), possibly 28214 or 28291 as well
Dorman part numbers 609 147 or 609 148 or 609 149

So far, I can find Schrader's 28291 for $42+7 shipping from ebay seller named: wicitybc.

I'm still hoping that I can get a set of 4 from Orange Electronics for around $100.... if they ever reply or pick up their phone.
