So, where do you guys recommend for shopping for parts online? I found a lot of stuff on Pelican Parts (.com) for cheap but then they charge a minimum of $19.95 for shipping. Then there are clowns on ebay with parts listed for astronomical prices. Then there are others on there with what seem to be decent prices. I'm looking for a good place to get things like an oil filter kit, fuel filter, spark plugs and wires, hood release lever, window and door seals, fuel lines, a technical or repair manual and other small items. I did see that Pelican does offer free shipping with purchases on select items with a total of I think $75. That seems reasonable especially since there prices seem reasonable enough that you can get quite a few things on there for that price. But then again..... I am new to this so maybe they aren't good prices.

You can get the filters at most parts places, but in all seriousness, call up the Classic Center. Get an EPC account, log on, search for parts by chassis code or VIN, etc. Call Phil and tell him what you need and have the part numbers in hand so he can verify them with you and answer any questions.

Autohausaz.com has free shipping at the $50 mark I believe, and as stated already, the Classic Center is a great resource and many times their prices match or beat others, all depending on the part of course. Any dealer can also order through Classic Center but you might as well deal direct, but if the parts are delivered to your dealer you don't pay shipping and they often get parts faster, within a day or two for me. Finally, join the MBCA if you haven't already to get a 15% discount on parts from CC, Tom Hanson has always done me right!
I checked out EPC and signed up for the free account. Glad I did the free because it turns out they do not support Mac or Linux. Only ms. So that option may be out. I did contact them though to see what other options they have, such as a pdf file.
Has anyone here ordered from Pelican Parts? I am getting ready to order some stuff but thought I would check first. They have a lot of parts that no one else has. Figure for what I need I'll be able to make the free shipping mark.
