Hello Gents,

Does anyone know where the fuse to the radio is located? (under the hood or in the little fuse pannel inside the driver side of the car?) My battery was dead and when I jumped it the radio seems to have went out.. Thinking a fuse may have blown for some reason.. It doesn't turn on right now..:surrender:

I checked all posts and didn't see mention of the location, would appreciate any advise.

Many thanks!

Check all the fuses, it is the simple answer.

Fuse may be blown, but if it (the radio) reacts at all, you may just need the radio code to get it back on line.

The fuse you want should be in the underhood box, the book says the smaller inside box is for lighting.

Good advice. I read some posts talking about a potential fuse in the back. I am hoping that someone has a manual that says where the more accessible fuse is.. I'm betting there is one under the hood or in the panel on the driver side.. I just don't have a book that tells me what the fuses go to, know what I mean?:surrender: Anyone know for sure what number fuse for the radio?

p.s. Doesn't work at all.. It was weird my battery died while doing the brake job. When I jumped it with my wife's car the cassette tape opened and the radio shut off.. Again.. Am hoping someone knows what number and the location the fuse is before tearing out the radio.. Sort of start with the easier first and work my way.. Thanks all!:surrender:

Today it flashed code which I think is a good thing.. Looks like the radio may be back on. The battery was dead again.. am now charging it thinking that will solve the problem.. Then maybe I'll only need to find the code and we're all good.. Oh shoot.. How would I go about getting the radio code? Just thinking ahead here. Thanks all!

The dealer can get the code for you, but be prepared to prove the car is yours.... :D

I checked two fuses under the hood.. I believe they were listed as 5 and 8. They looked fine. Getting CODE request on the head unit. Called the dealership and was able to get the code.. Entered it and am listening to fine music again. Thanks all.
