Man, I realize this software change is a bummer but where are all the regular SLK guys?? Ron, Julien, Alroumi, Realife? Where are you guys? Am I missing something here?

I don't know how it is everywhere else but here in Germany, we're finally having descent weather for plenty of top down fun so I for one have been taking full advantage of it leaving little time to accomplish everything else. Reading is great in the winter but driving is sooooo much better.

I am still in TN and logging on regularly. I did notice that after the change I had to reestablish my password. But other than that things seem to be working OK.

I agree that the summary (location and car type) was nice up front. You can get this from the profile if you just click on the name. I did that for myself and found that I was born January 1, 1980 and was 26 years old. That latter figure is off by a factor of about 2; not 13 years (that's my son's age) but the other way. I am concerned about how those fields are populated.

Well, I've lost my account since the password doesn't work and I don't remember which email it used to reset the password.

I wish they let us know ahead of time when the system upgrade would occur and the consequence of such, so that we can better prepare for it.

This new site business is really a big disappointment to me and not because of the physical changes (I don't really care about that). I tried to be positive but I just don't recognize this place anymore. Although everyone here is very nice, the atmosphere has changed. Except for a few regulars, the old gang is nowhere to be found. After well over 800 posts, I feel like a newcomer here. That's sad...

Jeez! I've never worked so hard to re-register! Finally did it by sheer grim determination. Bad thing is that with the new medication, I'll probably forget the d*mn thing by tomorrow. I think it's the "Fifty First Dates" syndrome.

Hey Zut - I'm with you 100%. I feel like a stranger in a strange land. With me, however, the changes DO make a difference. Definitely not as user-friendly as the old Web site's look/feel. This format just feels downright "clunky." I used to check in several times a day to get my "fix," but now I only check it occasionally. I think a lot has to do with the overall layout. I used to be able to breeze through the new postings very quickly. Now, it's a chore. Don't know if that's what others are experiencing and have, as a result, chosen to stay away, but that's the main reason I haven't been around much lately.
