Recently obtained a cd changer for my 1993 190e-2.6. I mounted it under the glove box, but I know that it's attached to plastic and it won't stay there forever. Before I disassemble the car, can anyone make it easy on me and tell me where the wiring trough is for wires going into the trunk? I only have to lay in 1 cable to mount the changer back there.

There are grommeted wire access holes to the trunk located under where the C pillars are. You have to remove the rear seat bottom and back. Vaccum lines for the filler door run on the passenger side, while the antenna lead runs on the driver's side. If you're lucky, the OEM cables are there, located behind the trunk plastic paneling on the gas filler door side.

Thanks so much for your reply, MTI. I haven't had a free weekend, yet, to implement your advice. Are you saying there's a factory installed wire for a changer, possibly? Anyone know if it is compatible with an Alpine S634 changer?
