What OEM Mercedes Wheels fit on a W123 coupe with NO modifications

What about other OEM wheels in 5 x112 size; from many Audis and some current VW's?

I don't usually care for a blatant aftermarket look to a car; so I'd like to go with an OEM style upgrade. Obviously I would look at other Mercedes wheels first; but I'm not opposed to wheels that fit correctly off of a different brand car.

That said - what is a direct fit and would not require modifications? I'm finding a lot of conflicting information using the search (but at least I can use it now!!!! )

I have found going to a VW wheel is impossible without any machining. The center holes are generally 60mm or smaller. Mercedes wheel hub center holes are much larger then that. You can easily put a Mercedes wheel on a VW though.

Thanks for bumping my thread. I HAVE been using the search function; check out my posts. I bet you were new here at one time and didn't find answers easily or with the clarity you would like. It's the INTERNET; the purpose of this board is to share ideas and advice. If you really have a problem with my posts in the future and the fact that I ask for help then please keep your rage to yourself. Thank you for the HELPFUL answer. I know a lot of people in the VW community like to use Mercedes wheels; so I wasn't SURE if they were compatible both ways. :thumbsup:
