I bought a 55 about two months ago and it's in need of new tires. The stock AMG wheels that are on it are not in the best of shape and, while I don't actively dislike them, they are not high on my list of favorites. I have the opportunity to pull the 18" 5-Spoke AMG wheels off of an S600 that my father and I have parted out, which has (almost new) tires on it. However, the front wheels just barely hit against the brake calipers when we tried to switch them initially. My question is - what size wheel spacers would I need to correct for that? The wheel widths are the same (7.5 fronts, 8.5 rears) as the CLK, just that extra inch of diameter is causing some problems. I am thinking 10mm spacers would be enough, but...

Fair enough. I'll start with 10mm and see where that gets me.
