A few months back I changed the rear left speed sensor on a customers 221 to fix an ESP problem. His car has only done 25000 and the tyres are like new. But now he is complaining the sometimes on a wet road when he crosses a white line he feels the rear end wander/slip.

I cannot replicate this and really want to get to the bottom of this problem. Have any of you chaps come across this before?

If you can't replicate the problem, the best is to be with your customer driving it alongside. Btw, the painted white line on the road is slippery indeed, add further if your tyre pressure is over-inflated. I've experienced this before but only during high speed cornering on the lines and on flyover 'joiner'; metal covered stripe across the road which they usually have on flyover.
