Just be aware I purchased one wheel repair set, had to return the paint spray because it would not spray correctly. They sent me another can free of charge and had the same problem. The color is pretty close. As long as you don't have a polished rim you can either spray the wheel like the link shows or spray some paint on a piece of plastic then use a small touch up brush.
Hmmm, lookz like that turned out good. And thanks for the quick reply.
I'm looking to completely paint all four wheels. Strip, blast, primer, base coat and clear coat. Kinda over kill I know, but I've got all the stuff minus the color coat so I figured wth. Plus a real finish will hold-up better than rattle can.
I was looking at it just now and it's so close to the body's paint I wonder if I could get away with the oem body color? I need to repaint the fender flares and some other damage, so I guess I'll try it. I could add a tad bit of black to give it some color difference from the body. I dunno, the body and wheels being the exact same color just doesn't seem right to me, know what I mean?
Btw, anyone know how to remove the fender flares on a 2000 ML55? I don't see any fasteners and thought I'd ask before I break something....
