Newbie here. Just signed on.

Q1 Looking to spruce up AMG Alloys professionally on my recently acquired R129 SL500 and so would like fresh wheel nuts to match. Which (top quality) wheel nuts and which size am I looking for, please?

Q2 Never did feel comfortable with air guns and now especially not on a beautiful car. So I need a torque wrench I can carry about and settings. Any recommendations please?

Hi Stephen, and welcome to the forum! Well done on entering our car in your profile. If you also include your approximate location, help will be more to the point.

As for lug bolts I can't help, but try in the AMG forum or just google. Torque should be 110 NM.

You can also call an MB dealer, they should have info on original lug bolts for official AMG wheels.
