As seen in this photo for a 400e, does anyone know of these wheel fender flares?

Never seen any ..So may be they were chrome to start with ..Turn my nose up at anything like those on the wheel arch ..They get put on to hide mutiple sins like rust and dents .

Yeah, they may be those generic 'custom'
flexible synth-rubber, cut-to-your-length
form-fits, of the type sold to 'boy racers'.

They actually don't look like flares have been added. More so the original fender lip was repainted. But photos don't tell the whole story.

Yes, they could possibly be chrome & painted.
W202 C32s 36s 43s had them as an oem option - made of epdm (better than the chrome counterpart that was also available onw202s)
I was surprised to see these on w124s. Maybe just a whim add-on by the owner.
