OK so the car had original (I suppose) wheels that are 18 inch, with 265/60R18 tires. I found these 22 inch wheels in Mint condition, not a single scratch, with Falken ZIEX S/TZ 05 tires that are 285/40R22. It was a good deal so I jumped. I think the car looks good with these.

Looks great with these.
Not a big fan of chrome wheels myself, but the curvature on the double spokes left a very good appearance on the wheel well.

To me, the down side of size 22 (and I have the 22" AMG factory set on mine) is that I couldn't find winter tires for this size unless it is a special order with big fat price tag or cheaper ones with huge grip that will heavily impact the drive comfort level (as if I'm driving a Ford F350) .

These tires do make road noise, more than any other tire I've owned. Mostly noticeable on the hiway though, and my GL is mostly for getting groceries.
