unless you have a hollander manual handy (or call your local library who may
look it up if they have one) why not just go by the other clues on the auction?
if they're saying it's an ECU module for a 96, can't you just go to the Russian
site, or Startek Info engine and look up the part #?

Thanks for the links raymond. Problem is that the same model year can have different part #, e.g. 1996 E320 has two # for instrument cluster and they are not interchangeable.

So Hollander is some kind of manual (book), will do a search. Thanks!

Is that part useful at all?
I did not intent to buy, just curious about the Hollander Interchange System. Now I know what it is.

yeah, that Hollander interchange manual is very useful. for my other cars, I
copied all the pages pertinent to my vehicles. i've not done this for my E320
yet. for folks who don't know, it basically gives you the answer to "will this
part from "X" year fit my car from "Y" year etc.

That could be useful for our salvage yard trips.
Should we make link in the stickies?
