I'm curious to know what you have on your grille. I've seen several mileage badges on W123s before but only a handful with a personal badge like my "Philippines" one.

Oddest thing I saw was a horseshoe! [:0]

Why do you think they look ugly? MBs have had grill badges for almost as long as there have been grills. The high mileage awards are actually quite common and country grill badges are common in Europe and many places around the world, reflecting MBs as an international car.

Contrived and pretentious, perhaps, but not ugly.

What is the highest mileage badge that MB issues ?

I know 250,000 & 500,000 km but 750,000 & 1 million km ?

I may NEVER get one with my 1982 240D. About to roll over to 76,000 miles :)

Three levels:

1. 250,000 km/155,000 miles
2. 500,000 km/312,500 miles
3. 1,000,000 km/625,000 miles

Go to the local Mercedes dealer to have it "certified". They should have the peperwork, but call ahead first.

BTW, Where in Louisiana are you ?

I also have a "cherry" 240D, just 76,000 ATM.

what color is a million km badge ?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen one – I know it’s one of the options on the application but I don’t know the color. To confuse things more there’s a member from Australia with a 200,000 km badge; perhaps the badges are market specific.

Isn´t it better whitout that things on the grill?[;)]

"cleaner" whitout them[;)]
Don’t know unc – you Europeans have been putting stuff on the grills for decades – we get it from you; ask DCX.

I think it looks fine either way. It’s certainly not wrong to install a grill badge considering they are OEM and authorized by MB. They are very much a ‘badge of honor’ indicating that this is a quality motor car; it and its owner have achieved something few cars achieve.

In addition to the original three levels, 1. 250,000 km/155,000 miles 2. 500,000 km/312,500 miles 3. 1,000,000 km/625,000 miles It seems, at least from the application I just filled out that they have added a fourth. Not measured in km but for 1,000,000 miles. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
