So now I'm guessing you've never tried one. It changes your driving experience even in good weather......no more wind buffeting your ears....keeps your hair (and wife's) in one place....and you can have a conversation and or listen to the radio.
Cold weather....blocker and windows up heater on.......you'll extend your driving season.
Now you have me thinking... The wife wears contacts and hates the breeze. Maybe this is a great solution. Any particular manufacturer you recommend?

Looks like blue sky over my head until mid next week. Showers likely and cooler then. May have to winterize (put the soft top up) then.

As of 1615 this date the original hardtop is in place for the first time since May, 2010. Installation prompted by the unusually high number of acorns that fell this year and the extra effort put forth by squirrels in gathering same.

ORIS.....if you can find one. That was the MB choice. That's what I have.

Getting warm enough here in Australia to enjoy the roof down...expecting 39 deg C again this week here in western Sydney - maybe a little too hot, and very smokey with the bushfires around. The bushfire about 20km from me has reached 100,000ha (250,000 acres) in size...

-11C this morning. I will be driving the 107. Mostly just garage roof over my head. Have to turn her around and back into storage spot at back of garage. Then disconnect battery. Early end to driving season here.

It was a nice top down day but I had the hardtop on, so I took my ACE1100 to check out a pristine Valk on Craig's list. So I now have excess fair weather machinery. Not exactly from Germany these are made in Marysville Ohio about an hour from here, this six cylinder fat girl is a blast to drive.

Unfortunately, this is Wisconsin. My lovely lady is in the garage with the top up, a cover (so she won't get cold) on, the battery out and in the warm house.
