Yellowish oil sounds like water and oil mixing... Maby you have a blown head gasket, check your dip stick if it's the same color you know what to do.

if u use MB coolant - it is yellowish in color and looks like oil and it is sweet to taste too...
it could be ur waterpump - if it leaks from 1/4 way from the front underneath the engine then it is ur water pump...

However do check your oil too and coolant - headgasket as suggested earlier...

Find out exactly what it is!

Keep in mind that a head gasket and a water pump replacement will cost you a lot of money so make sure of what it is leaking before you buy this car! It may be that a water hose is not tight or there is a leak in a water hose...no big deal, but you will want to know now while it isn't your problem then to buy it and find out you need to drop a grand into your "New" car!

thanks for all the help. I still haven't a good opportunity to drive over to the car and look at in great detail. Im thinking it would be a good idea just to get a pre-buy inspection I know of a really good place here in town. But at least now I'll have an idea going in what I'm dealing with, thanks again.
