Anyone know what version of instrument cluster/panel this is for the W126?
Something real, or just cheap aftermarket?

Thank you for the info.

Upon looking at it close up in person, I decided not to buy it for that reason. The slightly lacking detail/quality level of the front gauges and needles did not hold up to my taste, as it did not have that genuine high standard Mercedes feel to it.

It is in your neighborhood Mclare, as I went to Palmdale/Lancaster today for a fast visit. A very nice person named Wiliam, who used to have a classic car transport service in the area is the owner. He also has two vented rear brake discs, w126 mud flaps, and a brand new dash overlay that should be glued on. He sells them cheap.

It goes to 320 (I'm guessing KPH). Do you think the speedo was regeared or was it done to give the driver the impression of excessive speed ?

I think our gauge panels aren't up to the rest of the car.

I really like white gauge faces, but i'd like to have a really nice quality porcelain or enamel face. A nice quality chrome trim ring around each dial would be nice too.

I'll be getting around to this sometime in the near future, just not sure how I'll proceed yet.
