The military michelins will not hold up to aggressive rock or terrain use...however the Michelin 27 or 47 series tire would be my choice for off-road use. I've seen these tires, with next to no air, perform quite well on Mog applications.

I have a set of 14.5 Michelin XL's on my 406 that I have run real hard on rocks and in mud and they seem indestructable so far.

Continental MPT 80 14.5x20. More road noise but work fabulous in mud and snow. My favorite when I wear these out would be the Michelin XM 47.
Farm implement and tractor tires are OK but not able to withstand highway speed so you would need to haul the mog everywhere.
