I recently purchased a set of H&R lowering springs for my new C-Class. The drop is about 1' gap between the fender and the wheel in the front. The rear has less than a 1/4' gap. I have 19x9 Carlsson 2/5 brilliants in the rear and they rub with passengers in the back. I was wondering what size pads I should use in the rear to raise it about 1/4-1/2'. I was told this is possible. Right now they are the OEM pads. Any assistance about these pads would help. Thank you in advance.

My understanding is that the spring topmount shims, or pads, come in sizes ranging from 6mm to 23mm -- find out what size is currently on there and then do the math and figure out what the difference that you need is @ 25.4mm = 1 inch, and order the new pads/shims....
