OK, I know the value of Unimog parts, but am a bit lost on the car parts. So what is this 83' turbo motor worth? It has 204k miles on it and runs well. It would be just what you see, no AC, Alt., starter, or power steering pump. But everything else just as it was removed from the car. And are there any parts that are any good on the this transmission? It was run with no fluid and the oil that I did get out was burnt and black. So is there anything to save, or just scrap the whole thing?

I'm not sure. There is a shop/yard a couple hours from me that sells OM617 with <200k with all the fixings for $500-$800.
