For the love of God i can't figure out what the manual says here, what is this nipple (in red)?
Does the manual states that i should be using this nipple as the TDC and not the 0?

I think the nipple is used by the crank position sensor. TDC is the "0" mark.

That comments says there could also be a "0" mark 180 degree on the other side of the damper. (BDC = bottom dead center) make sure to use the one near the pin.

You you know what is the purpose of the sensor?

If there is one, it was only used by the factory when they built the engine.
