Thanks Frank. What is the verdict here? Shall I go Eibach or H&R (OE Sports)

to get about 1-inch drop without sacrificing comfort too much? I want to retain the ride comfort on my C320.
People have been telling me Eibach springs are progressive (versus linear in the case of H&R), therefore will give a better ride. However, others have said to the contrary. Now I am not sure what to use. I have no personal experience with these aftermarket springs.
Your advice will be most appreciated. TIA.
Yes Eibachs are definitely softer, hence the better ride..

I've used both several times on different cars and am 100% sure of the difference.

The only thing I don't like about Eibach is that it lowers the front more than the rear giving the car a sloped look. Thicker pads up front should even it out a bit.
