I have looked at several places on my car the touch up paint companies list as locations for the paint codes for my 97 MB S320 SWB. The sticker on the door jam doesn't show it and the only place I see a label plate is on the radiator brace as in my picture. None of the dealers show what I have. The closest one says that the 306 is my paint code but that isn't correct. I think the 744M is correct. I took it to Macco and they say it is astralsilber metalic but I also see brilliant silver as a possible match. Can anyone tell me for sure from my label plate what the correct paint code is? And what is your source for that information.
