What is involved in "facelifting" a 2008-11 W204 to look the like the 2012?

Judging from the photos of the new 2012 w204, it seems that a facelift may not be so bad to do you self.

If you study the difference between a 2012 and an 11 it seems like all you need in the front is a new hood, head lights and a bumper (and you may even be able to leave the old bumper as it looks like the new headlights will fit). The fenders seem to be the same.

As far as the rear, the lights are the the only thing and they will most likely be available on ebay in a couple months.

The interior is different story, which is a shame cause the 2012 seems to be much nicer...

I see your primary language is Spanish so I will do my best to speak in simple English, but wow, that is such a beautiful C-Class!! What year is your car? Where did you buy that bumper, and how hard was it to add the LED lights? Was it hard to put on?

I was thinking about getting a C63 replica bumper, but this is now what I want to do, the new bumper with black headlights, amazing looking!

The LED lights are easy to install, you need a special wiring.

The side view mirrors are different and probably the wheels too.

If I would just like to change my bumper into the face-lift version, do I need any modifications or just buy the original from Mercedes and have it installed?

Looking at the pictures posted by "Crxdelsol", the bumper seems to be a pretty perfect fit to me. I wonder what exactly has been done to look like that. Seems like quite some queries here.

I haven't actually bought it yet. But from a vendor here locally, I was asked to pay around US$25k for bumper + LED day-time running lights. I have ordered it and waiting for it to be delivered. Yet, not sure if everything is what I expect.

How can one wire the headlights. My wiring expert seems to be not getting it right. I cant flush. Besides, when I switch deam, it automatically adjust to full light. I converted my c180, year 2008, w204 to 2012 headlights. Thanks for your advice
