32 valve AMG, perhaps a 6 liter 117?

Have you tried a forum search (see sticky for how to) with '32 valve AMG?' Or try 'AMG Hammer,' one of the members here owns two rare 6.0 32 valve AMG.

Welcome, to take advantage of all the forum features, please re visit the 'Welcome to the Forum' tutorial sticky on top of the W126 page, as well as the two DIY stickies.
It will show how to search the forum, complete a profile, and even has a link to the Russian MB site where you can run a VIN#. The forum archive has a wealth of information re your topic.
Good luck

That engine is based on the 5.6 M117 motor. So its either a 32V 5.6 or 6.0L motor.

Earlier, there were 5.0 and 5.4 32v's based on the 5.0 M117

I sm pretty sure that is a 6.0 It's got the heads. And as a side note I would kill for that airbox.

That picture is from the 1987 North American AMG catalog.

As everyone has pointed out already, the engine pictures is based on the M117 5.6L and has the AMG 4-valve heads and other modifications.
