exhibit 1- the case against emissions controls:

this is your engine on EGR and PCV. any questions ??

the EGR and PCV systems, fill the intake manifold with blowby gases containing oil, and combustion byproducts, and clog up the throttle valves, that should only be ingesting PURE AIR. these were the throttles on my V12, after 108,000 miles. I had to remove both, and thoroughly clean them. if you want your engine to run clean, disconnect the EGR and PVC from the throttles. the people saying keep these systems connected to your engine, don't know WTF they are talking about. that's all I'm going to say about that.
I purposely took pics of these throttles while BLOCKING the EGR valves, and pulling PVC lines off throttles, intuition told me, some pot-bellied, clueless idiots in the future, would say to leave them on. that greasy grime goes throughout the entire intake tract, all for the sake of alleged "clean air" in the cities. yet the air in the cities is filthy, and smoggy to this day, anyway. these systems just don't work, period. they're a farce.

"As a vehicle technician for BMW I can assure that it is good for your engine to get rid of EGR. EGR systems are there to improve the exhaust gas quality and slightly win a few miles on a tank (in theory). What really happens is quite different. Your oil will become polluted quicker, your manifold / intake will get clogged by excessive amounts of soot and eventually your car will become a big pollution mobile that isn't as fast as when you bought it. The people who know this solve this problem easily by disabling the EGR system on old cars. But on cars from 2004 and on, it can get more difficult because chip tuning might be needed. In any case, removing the EGR is a bit more harmful for the environment, but not as harmful as a clogged up diesel engine & disabling makes a lot of diesels pretty much indestructible."
