I was looking at some more mercedez and i see that in most s600's have these 2 arrows only on the passenger's rear side door. What is it for?

This set of buttons is so the rear passenger can either control their own seat, (the rearward button), or can actually control the front passenger seat, (the forward facing button).
The rear passenger can give themselves even more leg room by moving the front passenger seat forward -I have this in my S320 CDi LWB.
