Installed new drilled rotors, and porterfield brake pads.

Only took all day and four cans of brake cleaner.

It took all day because of the cleaning, and waiting for the paint to dry.

JC..Tell us how well they work! They look great! I particularly like the red calipers. What kind of paint did you use?[:)]

The brakes look good.

Where did you get the Zimmerman crossdrilled rotors? Are the holes chamfered?

2002 SLK 32 AMG, bone stock. 1987 190E 2.3-16 valve (destroyed). 2005 E320 new toy.

The Porterfield's may dust for a few miles after installation...

don't worry about it, that will stop. They are excellent pads.

I think the red looks great against the black car. Keep us posted on how you like the new setup.

I had my new brakes done at the weekend too ! I went for the Porterfield pads and Brembo Max discs. Sadly I didn't get time to paint the calipers. I want to get my wheels re-furbished now, and was considering going for the "chrome" look. JCWish, are you wheels originally chrome ?

those are some pretty nice brakes! im thinking about getting some myself and sending them off to be cryo'd. [:D]
