Hello brothers and sisters, I'm new to this forum but have been a loyal customer of Benz for many years now. I'm wondering what you love/hate about the Mercedes Benz company. Personally I find that the Benz is exactly the car that suits my lifestyle.

What I hate about MB Corp is that they are full of selfish facist bastards who just care about making money instead of making proper automobiles like they did in the old days.

This is pretty much almost with any company.

What I love about Mercedes-Benz is how their office for North America is only 5 minutes from where I live.

I love it for the fact that their still committed to safety.

A 10 Dollar piece of plastic is $258 at MBZ

Pros...Like the styling and safety features...

Cons...When you need a small piece for a part that may have cracked or broke ... but must buy a NEW entire component instead of the $1 dollar part...

A plastic License plate holder for a sl500 sport model is $258...Come On...

So look for me ...I am the guy without a front Plate....

I went with a group to see a few Mercedes-Benz' at a factory facility on Saturday. I like the fact that Mercedes-Benz cares enough about their customers that they would assist in preserving vehicles AND give tours of the facilities that are used to do so.

Hate - the parts cost to much.

Love - after I pay for the parts they always give me a large round tri-star chocolate candy.

No hate no love, but I believe they still build nice cars, best cars to own, remember that those guys you hate/love sometimes at the Mercedes Benz dealers are just workers for the agents not the owners of Mercedes Benz company, of course they'll try to make money for their company there's nothing wrong with that, in fact they're loyal to their companies and care for their jobs as you do, put your self in their shoes and see what you gonna do, another thing is that you have the money, you have to spend it somewhere and this one place to spend some money at, and enjoy the luxury of Mercedes Benz.

Love - The high degree of engineering and precision that Mercedes Benz has been dedicated to for over a century.

Cons - The complexity of their engineering can be a PITA to work on for a DIY guy. Also, the way the market inherently forced MB to cut corners starting in the '90s.

I just love the attention to detail that you don't get in other makes of cars, everything in MB seems so easy to use and so well thought out.

The customer Service at the Dealers, especially taking it in for Service. Always trying to rip you off on additoinal services.

Hate: MB Canada's used car website - missing pictures, little detail on options. BMW Canada does this much better, multiple pictures, better search etc.

No dislikes about the cars..........
On the other hand I drive 40 miles past the first dealership to go to the second dealership. The second ones service is that good. It is worth every penny and the extra time.

I loath that there is NO Customer Service at the MBUSA level. They push all CS to the dealers, even if the problem is with the dealer.

And if I lived only 5 minutes from MBUSA HQ like Chinny4290 there would be Restraining Orders in place by now.

Pros: Love the cars. almost every part of em.

Cons: Hate the fact that when a car gets 15+years old, they don't care about em anymore.
Aftermarket and performance parts are hard to find for 15+ year old cars.
