1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3

I know these are good cars and all, but how about those transmissions? When is the usual milage when you need a rebuild/new tranny?

I might consider this, but I normally prefer a larger more comfortable car.. It's the 93 which is the last year of the body style, and I do like white on these cars. I'd have to fix that front end under the headlight, new grille, and put in the correct headlamps ... but outside of that it looks like a pretty nice car.

Opinions please?? What do you think about offering him $1,500? Is it worth that?

Personally I think the mileage is too high for the price unless it's a total cream puff.

if he has all the maintenance records on it and the car is clean inside and out...1500 is acceptable...not overly priced...or you can keep checking around on here...they do pop up occasionally

I think it is not overly priced. I was offered $2500 for my signal red 1993 2.3 with 275K with all records and maintenance history since 1993 till today.
