Interesting review on the 05 porsche boxster, mb should be quivering, more than usual.

As far as the saturn it looks pretty good, the one I had for 3 years had no problems at all so if I was in the market for that price range of roadster it would be a good looking reliable one from my experience. I think it will be hard though for them to break out of their image of cheap, reliable, economical image.

I think the car looks great. If the car runs as good as it looks, I seriously think it will rock the industry for the mid life crisis people that want but can't afford a higher end, feel good, sun and fun car. I think its just a tad out of the reach of your typical teenage girl that would want a convertible. Maybe the Pontiac Solstices price coming in around 16k will assist in that area.

Again, if the car at least runs good, I know I'd be proud to have one. I haven't seen any photos of the roof up though.

My question is where is the top - is it a soft top conv or a hard top because that will make a MAJOR price difference and power difference (170 HP, please if at 192 Hp our SLK230s are called putt-putt, what more of this?)

I think it is a nice looking car both on the inside and outside. Now if they would take out the little 170hp engine and replace it with the Neon SRT4 turbo 4 it would be a very fun little car.

I think the front end is writing checks the engine can't cash. Its basically a Miata fighter, or clone of the Pontiac Solstice, and intended to cash in on the somewhat high price niche the Miata lives in without a lot of current competition.

I also don't care for the way that red interior is extended to the dashboard and steering wheel; just too much red for me. It would be nice to see another 2-seater like the Miata, but at a more realistic domestic price starting around $15K instead of $25K, where I think it will be too expensive for the intended audience.

A lot of folks would buy a moderately powered, perceived as safe, 2-seater for their high school or college kids in the well-under $20K price range, but at $25K, they are pushing the price of a C230 Kompressor Sport Coupe, which I would choose over any Saturn or Pontiac, for safety, insurance cost, value retention, and "panache".
