Got new windshield ( Made in USA glass ) at home pro service for 215 bucks ..what a great deal for my restoration budget. Small tip : Mono wiper like W201 is hard to replace windshield unless we remove wiper motor and pop out all windshield trims by yourself in order to have windshield technician perform for better sealant and save yourself headache of trims bend ( If remove by them)

So today, I replaced a few hoses. The bypass hose was rather hard to get out but managed it with pliers. Also, the parts store sold me the hose too long which required cutting down to size. Anyway, it wasn't too hard to cut but had to be careful not to cut too much off. There was lots of crud around the housing where the hose goes on to. The crud was removed with a blade.

I have put everything back and filled with coolant. For some reason, the coolant sensor is always on now. I will try poking around to see if it will work again. Else, I might to get another sensor.

The hose is original as it has the benz star.

Little odds and ends today, kinda nice to have a chance to do some of the small stuff.

1) Adjusted the bowden cable, needed just a bit longer before it shifts.
2) Replaced a wheel center cap I scratched last time the rear wheels were off.
3) Improved center console vent piece installed, this is the best I've found yet, but still not perfect and I'll need to grab a piece to block off that center hole.
4) SEM trim painted the windshield wiper nozzles, the last grey trim piece is gone! Cleaned out the nozzles as well, they were disgusting so should see a nice improvement in the windshield washer.

Went to replace the inline fuel filter that is the fitting between fuel inlet hose and the FD inlet. Unfortunately the hose was seized to the fitting and started to twist the second I put any force on it. New hose is NLA from MB but I can confirm the same hose from the W124s works on our cars. P/Ns below for anyone searching Google for the hoses.

MB seems to be NLA for the W124 hose as well but Cohline has a good quality one I just installed.

Not today but yesterday 08-06-21.

I swapped out the distributor cap, rotor and cover. I also went ahead and swapped out the spark plug wires with new ones one time.

My aux fan only turns on for a brief moment upon key entry and slight turn to ignition, but never comes on even during the appropriate times for it to do so. Because of that I swapped out the fuses with new ones, basically any fuse that has been there since birth got swapped after carefully checking each one and their function. While I did that, my friend was working on the right rear window regulator. I did the rear left myself prior in the past and it was a breeze, so I figured it'd be the same for him. When I checked on him it turns out the regulator that needed to be replaced was completely ancient lmao. Completely different from the one I replaced on the left side. Eventually we got it done and took her for a drive. Got some more figuring out to do with the aux, but for now shes coming along pretty great.

Replaced my blower motor. Easy job. Don't understand how 20 pounds of random debris can get inside the enclosed blower motor box behind the wiper assembly. Satisfying vacuuming all of that garbage out.
