Reluctance understood. So many of the shelf "remedies" have mixed records that it is nice to see one that apparently did good.

Been spending some time with this incredible dead stock 84 500SEL. There is absolutely nothing that compares to "original". PNW car, 41k original miles and this car runs and drives like no other I have come across. No "Magic" performed on this excellent example. Cell phone pics. Looks better in person. Enjoy! Mike

For sure. The BaT audience is world wide and this is perfect for that venue. Purchased in Portland OR, serviced by the dealership and obviously garaged and loved. We changed all fluids and filters, replaced front brake rotors and pads. A/C blows really cold, no leaks and when you look into the oil filler passenger valve cover everything is shinny and like new. I need to replace the tires due to age. Will take my time picturing up this one. All the original hang tags, manuals, window sticker and stamped service book by the dealer. Even though the US models in 84 and 85 have lower published HP this car provides a great driving experience. We all know these cars were among the heaviest produced during that time period and only a hand-full can be considered fast. This is all about a flagship LWB sedan that was designed and built by engineers and not the later cars manufactured to meet a price point. Most likely will list it with no reserve as the car speaks for itself. Gotta love the wood and deep blue interior.

Oh lovely. I never liked the blue interiors until I saw one in person and it was really nice. That's a lovely example.

Nope. I have a near-pristine blue interior, and I still don't like it...

One word BigDaddy, DAYUMMM that's a pretty car ( ok, a few words) looks like it was only driven . . . . . . to the dealer for oil changes

I think a blue interior needs a certain look for the exterior paint. Blue on blue is perfect. Black on blue is very very nice, as is silver on blue. My first SEC had a blue interior and it really grew on me.

To me, all across the board with cars white paint and blue interiors are the top of the line. Just so happened that both of my Mercedes cars have had Palomino with black (SE) and now white on the SEC
