I have a radiator or hose leak; I noticed it yesterday. The fluid is blowing back towards the engine, so it has to be coming from the radiator. I believe the radiator is cracked or leaking some where. I am going to have it pressure tested. The temp has been fine, but I'm not going to drive it until I can get it tested. Problem is, the antifreeze looks like prestone or any other "green" antifreeze. I remember seeing somwhere, that american antifreeze is corrosive to the engine or the gaskets. Can't seem to find it again, I'm not really worried about the leak as much as I am that it may have had the "green" antifreeze in it. How worried should I be if someone did put the wrong antifreeze in it? Thanks Guys!

Amber, or close to clear; comes in a white jug with the standard-issue MB blue/white label.

I just bought some the other day.

Don't be too worried, just change it out at the next earliest convenience. It's only anti-freeze, it's not like they put hydro-chloric acid in the block (as some would have you believe...)

Is the radiator the same, in my 560 as the one in my 420? I was just going to swap them out. After having it cleaned and tested of course.

Zerex G 05 is the same coolant as MB, both made by and branded in some Countries as Valvoline.
