I have an SLK 32 on order and I'm not happy with the 245/40 x 17' tires. I think they are far to small, and lack traction for the reported 349 Hp. and 330 Ft lbs. of torque.
I'm looking at putting 235/45 x 17's in front and 255/45 x 17's in back. Does that seem reasonable?

The difference appears to be about 1.2% front to rear so the ESP and ABS should not be effected.
Do you see any problems other then that?
i have a 1999 slk230 with carlsson evo 19x8.5 up front with 235-35-19 p7000 and 19x10 rear with 265-30-19 and for the best ride on slk use the cup kit that h&r has to offer i sell it for $629.99 for the suspension any ? call us at
617-787-8800 my name is orlando
