I live in pothole city...Philadelphia. So, it wouldn't make to much sense to plus size my wheels to a 17" or 18" due to potentially damaging potholes that would ruin my investment. Now, in all of your opinions, what are the best looking 16" wheels for the W126 sedans?[8D]

They're nice. But, I don't think they would look as good on a sedan. I guess they have a more aggressive and sporty look.

Well first off no one can get any Pentas until I get a set for my SE[:D] Seriously I think you're right unless you have the AMG body kit. This is how they would look on mine, quicky Photoshop job so not perfect.

I'm partial to 5 spoke wheels so you might want to look into ones from a SLK or CLK (can't remember what i was looking at). Collisionwheel.com has all the MB factory wheels so you can browse thru them all nicely.

Here's another idea. Kinda crappy Photoshop job but I didn't have a good pic of the wheel. I like this wheel but not sure I like it on this body.

the bolt pattern is correct , but you gotta ask the seller about the wheel's offset, thats what kept srewing me everytime I found a set I liked. By the way, White500se , that second set of wheels you photoshoped DO NOT FIT , I think the offset you need is 25mm , anyone correct me if I'm wrong

Hmmm, I really like that particular rim. It’s slightly sporty, yet elegant. I think that rim will look great on a W126.

I think i'll go with the 8 hole rims. Besides, they are a good price at Tire Rack. Plus, I want to have some rubber on the road.

I'm not trying to buy another car. Don't they cost approximately $800. - $1200. per wheel or more? I'd rather put that money into getting additonal mechanical work done. What good is it to have nice expensive shiny wheels and tires, then your Benz doesn't run correctly?

Thanks for the info, I wondered how transferable newer wheels were. Anyway it's Penta or stick with what i have for me.

That was for 2 wheels or 4 wheels. What is the Lorinser model number and the offset numbers?
