It is a 1998 ML320. Will this do anything for sound or performance. I live in California as well so would any muffler shop do it or no. Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum. I believe that the exhaust will change sound and performance, but not that noticeable. If you find a good recommended shop they should have no problem doing it.

This one won't do either of those. It is simply an elaborate tip that gives you a dual exhaust look. It is not a muffler.

Is there anyone I should put on it? All you guys make your older ML sick and I want to too. All I have is updated LED tailights. I want to paint the bumpers black and new headlights and add foglights

honestly, i wouldn't worry about the exhaust right now. post some pics of your car so we can make some suggestions.

lakers08, not sure where in california u r located, but if u r in socal, u can go to the shop i went to get custom tails plus muffler... will look the same and sound the same except the cost is less... even if u r not in socal, any good local custom exhaust shop can do it... :thumbsup:

I just put a Weltmeister exhaust on my ML430. It took about 2 hours of labor, but it looks great. Here's some pics.

wow thats so nice of you but I dont have the money right now. Its the next mod I want to do but probably want to do it in a month or so. How much did it cost you and does it do anything for the car?

The system cost me around $300. Installation cost around $100. As far as performance, it doesn't do much right now...I'm planning on adding a new free flow muffler. I think it adds alot to my ML...that's why I did it.
