Hmmm. Let’s see -- 88 divided by 4 equals -- well, HEY! Yep, sure enough. These SL55 wheels have 22 spokes! 6 more than the original wheels.[:0]

I never did put them side by side for comparison. Oh, well. Still looks good to me.[8)]

Wow, that is a gorgeous color and a beautiful car. I'm not sure about the rims though...I've never been a big fan of >10 spoke rims. But hey to each his own right? I'm sure the extra grip with the wider tires helps you launch a lot better though.

looks great! but those suckers look hard to clean
They are a bit, but thankfully the wheels are very smooth with no real or simulated screwheads, narrow slots or sharp corners. So I spray on some car wash concentrate and then a quick wipe with a small sponge does a very satifactory job.

Also, I am pleasantly surprised about how relatively little brake dust there is from the AMG's pads -- much less than from the pads that I had on my BMWs.
