I had this same issue back in June & it smelled like coolant to me too but turned out to be A/C compressor slowly leaking it's contents before finally seizing on it's belt pulley. Luckily, the pulley stayed in play though wobbly long enough for me to get to a workshop but fell off with slightest crowbar nudge once there.
Weird Chemical/Sweet Smell? WTH?
Hello all!
So I have had my E320 BT for a few months now, and love it. I still have a list of things that need to be fixed, but this one is just a annoyance.
When I start the car, I get this weird smell, kinda sweet, kinda smells like a sharp chemical smell. I have zero idea what this could be. Anyone have any ideas?
Also, I rode in a friends newer E350 the other day. And I noticed that the comand interface is different. Is there anyway I can update that somehow?
