I posted earlier that my 380 sec seized the engine up and how hard it would be to find a replacement here in Alaska. I ended up buying two 116, one of which used to be Nutz ride. well I ran into problems with those two , the fuel injection is crap if the manifold pressur sensor doesn't work. I was getting fedup with mercedes stuff and trying to find good parts. I decided well maybe I could hunt around Anchorage and maybe find an old MB with the parts I needed, no luck there but I did manage to purchase a 1981 126 with a 380 that to my surprise started and drove for $300.00 it does look like crap though but runs like a raped ape. Here is the vin WDB12603312013439, it also has a 6.5 tach and 160 speedo and oh the original AMG kit, pretty dam nice for just cruzin around the town. Well I'm happy and my 82 380sec will be happy to have the new motor and bumpers. This is one of those ;OOOHHH Yeh!!! moments guys.
