there is one topic about brake pads that brought the pads brand but with not much explanation.
I am researching new brakes for my E300td and sure there is no easy answer. Not only ceramic pads have good reports about low dust and bad about screwing rotors at accelerated rate, but to top the confusion I found that Akebono has several types of pads.
Below is the site with pads listed on them. For those who have Akebonos on their cars, please post wchich kind and your experience?

Euro ultra premium is what I put on my 420. They are a ceramic pad.
