The MB site simply says the C300 comes with an 8-speaker stereo. Do any of you know if the actual watts of the system are specified anywhere?

Another site states that the Audio 20 system has a 4 channel x 20 watt amplifier. In front are two 1 inch tweeters (above the dash?) separate from two 6 1/2 inch in the front doors, but not sure in the rear. A cheap Ford has far superior sound, preferring the Ford to the C300 for daily driving just because the Mercedes stereo is so crappy.

I'm pretty sure the tweeters are on the top of the doors next to the side view mirrors

To open this old topic back up, I'm in the process of updating the speakers on my 2010 C300 but leaving the Audio 20 stock with no amp upgrades. Surprisingly there's not a lot of info out there other than the threads on this site and I'm wondering what new speakers replace the models noted in these threads.
Can anyone please confirm that when you do not upgrade*and amps, the speakers all should be in the 2 ohm range?

Crutchfield do not recommend the rear speaker replacement as others have noted. But gave me a low profile option if I went with the Infinity brand.

for the door frame tweeters and the front-doors:
Infinity Primus PR6510CS (2.7 ohm)
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108P6510CM/Infinity-Primus-PR6510CS.html?avf=Y

For the rear doors, they first mentioned these:
Infinity Primus PR6512is (2.7 ohm)
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108P6512IM/Infinity-Primus-PR6512is.html

but when I asked for a slim profile option (read that it's better to stay slim profile on the rear) , they recommended these (but these are 3 ohm)
Infinity Reference REF-6532ex (3-4ohm)
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108R6532EM/Infinity-Reference-REF-6532ex.html

For the rear dash sub woofer I don't know what my options are here but assume another 2 ohm speaker such as this:
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_575R2D210/Rockford-Fosgate-R2D2-10.html

how difficult is it for that rear speaker to be drilled out and replaced with existing Audio 20 wiring?

Thank you for the advice on this forum.
