Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the pressed-on water pump pulley on an M116 engine (for serpentine belt conversion?). The M117 AFAIK has a flange on it and THAT is very simple. Thanks.
Nahh, it's pressed on. I'm wondering if it can be done without damage. I'd like to set up a serpentine system.It had to get on there someway. So there's someway to take it off. My 1990 420sel has four bolts to take off the water pump pulley. Is that the m116 engine you're talking about?
