My son is 92 , 190E 2.3 auto. white Mercedeces.

He has a very big problem , there is a water leakage . I have attached the photos of leakage area. I think that hoses for AC's disposal water however my car loosing engine water from there.

I have recently changed cap of engine water case then leakage amount inreased.

By the way it is heating system works very well, but AC doesn't. Morever leakage is independent whether I use heater/AC.

those are transmission lines and they shouldnt leak water...

the water is coming from that black hose in the deep . It is more easy to see in the first photo.

its a drain hose for the hvac

What can be reason for this leakage... Heater core or something else which is connected drain hose...

is it water or coolant? it might just be condensation from the ac

it could be rain water, etc...its normal, if its coolant then its a bad core or something like that.

it is coolant. because I have to add water to engine after two hours drive.

heater core or a bad hose near the heater valve.

How can I understand the problem is the heator core or heater valve... Let me change my question do i have to dismount all the dash and reated parts to reach both parts...

nope, remove the cowl under the wiper and you can see the valve, the core, you would need to remove the dash. my money is on the valve.

Hi again...
yes my problem is heater valve, I checked it and there is a serious leakage on it. I hope that is the only problem. I ordered new part probably I ll be fixed in couple of days.
