Well at 75000 miles on my 2000 320, I finally had a steady check engine light and bas/esp light. instead of going to a MB dealer, I was refered to a shell gas station owned by two ex MB mechcanics that used to work for silver star motors here In New York. The check engine was due to the Maf and the bas/esp was a bad lateral sensor(under center console). They used genuine MB parts and the whole job Is under warranty. It ran me 600. The truck runs fine now, but did I actually save by not going to the dealer?
